When the snow melts and the rain takes its place, along with spring, you know it’s moving time! Moving is incredibly stressful and chaotic, not to mention expensive. There are just some headaches you can’t avoid when it comes to a new abode. There are, however, some steps you can take to give your wallet a break and save you time.

1) Place saran wrap over liquid bottle lids to avoid spillage.



 

2) Store & organize your shoes in a wine box.

 

 


3) Roll your clothing in drawers; take drawers out of dresser and move as is. (Best in dry weather.)


4) Separate & move your delicate jewelry using an egg carton.


5) Simply place a heavy-duty garbage bag over your hanging clothing and pack as is.


 

6) Pack your books into a suitcase for easy organization and less of a laborious move!


 

7) Wrap your delicate glassware in socks.


8) Store and move spices in a lidded pot.


9) Saran wrap your utensil tray to avoid packing and unpacking each and every item.


 

10) Store items inside of shoes for more space and a bit of padding.
